Are there any small parts?
Yes. The Tetris contains small parts: not suitable for children under 36 months without close supervision.
It's written on the box and we repeat it here, because a big brother's toy often ends up within the little one's reach.
Recommended age
From 2 to 6 years, supervised before age 3 because of the small pieces.
At 2, the child fills the frame at random. At 5, he finishes the last cards, the ones where only one arrangement works.
How do the challenge cards work?
Ten cards, from the simplest to the hardest. Each shows a shape to rebuild with the pieces on the tray.
The child corrects himself: if it doesn't fit, it isn't the right piece. Nobody has to say no.
Shipping and returns
Processing. Your order leaves within 24 to 48 business hours. Shipping in 6 to 10 days, free, with no minimum.
Returns. Thirty days from receipt. Prepaid label supplied, return costs on us, refund within 14 days of receiving the package.
Care and safety
A slightly damp cloth, dried straight away. Painted wood must not go in the dishwasher or be soaked.
Count the pieces before putting it away: it's the only care that really matters.
Frequently asked questions
My child gives up as soon as it gets hard. Will it frustrate him?
The ten cards are sorted by difficulty: you start with the ones where almost every piece fits.
And above all, nobody tells him no. If the piece doesn't fit, he sees it for himself and tries another — which is very different from a grown-up correcting him.
What happens if we lose a piece?
Out of 42 pieces, losing a single one only blocks a few cards. Email us at contact@miloubo.com and we'll see what we can do.
The habit that avoids the problem: count them again before closing the frame.
At what age does he really start playing on his own?
Around 3 for the first cards. Before that, he fills the frame his own way, without following a pattern — and that's already play.
The last cards, the ones where only one arrangement works, last until age 6.
Is it really a Montessori toy?
What stays true to the approach is control of error: the material itself tells you whether it's right, with no grown-up stepping in.
That's what this tray does. We don't go further in our claims.
Can I give it as a gift straight away?
The package leaves in a plain box, with no price or store name on the outside.
We don't yet offer gift wrapping or a handwritten card. If you need either, email us at contact@miloubo.com before ordering.
How can I reach you before ordering?
By email at contact@miloubo.com. We reply within 24 business hours.
If you're torn between two products or two ages, describe your child to us — it's the question we get asked most and the one we most enjoy answering.
Another question? contact@miloubo.com — we reply within 24 business hours.

Our world
It all started with a tablet held out at the table
Miloubo was born from a family dinner and a tablet held out to a two-year-old. Calm came back in thirty seconds. The guilt came right after.
Ever since, we've been looking for just one thing: something that holds a child's attention for longer than a screen does. Felt, real fastenings to open — and nothing that flashes.
Toys that children ask for, and parents are happy to give.
Read our storyHands first
A child doesn't learn because we explain it to him. He learns because he tries, gets it wrong and tries again.
No screen, no noise
Calm doesn't come from a toy that talks. None of our busy boards makes an electronic sound.
Made for the trip
Car, plane, restaurant, waiting room. That's where a parent needs it most.
Still useful in three years' time
Velcro at one, laces at four. The same thing, but never the same game.

The relief, in their own words
Over 15,000 parents and children won over — here are seven of their stories.
Élodie R. · Jules's mom, 14 months
✓ Verified purchaseHe had tons of toys and couldn't care less. That was exactly our problem: plenty of toys within reach, and he wasn't playing with any of them. Now he opens, closes, starts again. Twenty minutes by the clock, while I finish my coffee.
Marion L. · Anna's mom, 18 months
✓ Verified purchaseThe first meal out where we actually finished our plates. What I dreaded most was the looks from the other tables. We brought it out at the appetizer and she stayed on it until the main course. Nobody turned around to look at us, and that is priceless.
Hélène P. · Zoé's Nana, 1 year
✓ Verified purchaseI wanted to give something other than a toy with batteries. I was looking for a gift that wouldn't make a noise and wouldn't end up at the bottom of a toy box. My daughter thanked me: it fits in the diaper bag and goes everywhere with them.
Marine T. · Gabriel's godmother, 2 years
✓ Verified purchaseHe didn't touch the other packages. A gift for his second birthday. He opened it, sat down on the floor with it, and didn't let go all afternoon. The other gifts stayed wrapped.
Nadia F. · Sami's mom, 2 and a half
✓ Verified purchaseHe gets car sick, a screen was impossible. As soon as he looks at something moving in the car, he's sick. We had no answer for trips. Now his eyes are on his hands, and we did two hours without an emergency stop.
Camille D. · Léa's mom, 3 years
✓ Verified purchaseEight hours on the road, and not a single film. A very long drive with my 3-year-old. I was looking for a way to keep her busy without putting a cartoon on. She lasted the first two hours on it, and she went back to it after every break.
Fanny D. · Rose's mom, 3 years
✓ Verified purchaseOut at take-off, packed away at landing. Three hours on a plane. No meltdown, no screen, and I didn't have to bargain with her once. The flight attendant asked us where we'd found it.
