Are there small parts?

Yes. The Tetris contains small parts: not suitable for children under 36 months without close supervision.

It's written on the box and we repeat it here, because a big brother's toy often ends up within reach of the little one.

Recommended age

Ages 2 to 6, supervised before age 3 because of the small pieces.

At 2, kids fill the frame at random. At 5, they finish the last cards, the ones where only one arrangement works.

How do the challenge cards work?

Ten cards, from the easiest to the hardest. Each shows a shape to rebuild with the pieces on the board.

Kids correct themselves: if it doesn't fit, it's not the right piece. Nobody has to say no.

Shipping and returns

Shipping. Your order leaves within 24 to 48 business hours. Delivery in 6 to 10 days, free, no minimum.

Returns. Thirty days from receipt. Prepaid label provided, return shipping on us, refund within 14 days of receiving the package.

Care and safety

A slightly damp cloth, dry right away. Painted wood can't go in the dishwasher or soak.

Count the pieces before putting it away: that's the only care that really matters.

Frequently asked questions

My child gives up as soon as it gets hard. Will it frustrate them?

The ten cards are sorted by difficulty: you start with the ones where almost every piece fits.

And above all, nobody tells them no. If the piece doesn't fit, they see it themselves and try another — it's very different from an adult correcting them.

What happens if we lose a piece?

Out of 42 pieces, losing a single one only blocks a few cards. Email us at contact@miloubo.com and we'll see what we can do.

The habit that prevents the problem: recount before closing the frame.

At what age do they really start playing on their own?

Around age 3 for the first cards. Before that, they fill the frame their own way, without following a pattern — and that's already play.

The last cards, the ones where only one arrangement works, hold up until age 6.

Is it really a Montessori toy?

What stays true to the approach is control of error: the material itself shows whether it's right, with no adult stepping in.

That's what this board does. We don't go further in our claims.

Can I send it directly as a gift?

The package ships in a plain box, with no price or store name on the outside.

We don't offer gift wrapping or a handwritten card yet. If you need one, email us at contact@miloubo.com before ordering.

How can I reach you before ordering?

By email at contact@miloubo.com. We reply within 24 business hours.

If you can't decide between two products or two ages, describe your child to us — it's the question we get the most and the one we most enjoy answering.

Another question? contact@miloubo.com — we reply within 24 business hours.

Our world

It started with a tablet handed over at the dinner table

Miloubo was born from a family dinner and a tablet handed to a two-year-old. Calm came back in thirty seconds. The guilt came right after.

Ever since, we've been after one thing: something that holds a child's attention longer than a screen. Felt, real fasteners to open — and nothing that blinks.

Toys kids ask for, and parents feel good about.

Read our story

Hands first

Kids don't learn because we explain it to them. They learn because they try, get it wrong, and try again.

No screen, no noise

Calm doesn't come from a toy that talks. None of our busy books make an electronic sound.

Made for the road

Car, plane, restaurant, waiting room. That's where a parent needs it most.

Still in use three years from now

Velcro at one, laces at four. The same book, but never the same game.

The relief, in their own words

15,000+ parents and kids won over — here are seven of their stories.

He had tons of toys and couldn't care less. That was exactly our problem: tons of toys within reach and he didn't play with any of them. Now he opens it, closes it, does it again. Twenty minutes by the clock, while I finish my coffee.

The first restaurant meal where we actually finished our plates. I was mostly dreading the looks from the other tables. We pulled it out with the appetizers and she stayed on it until the main course. Nobody turned around to look at us, and that is priceless.

I wanted to give something other than a battery-operated toy. I was looking for a gift that doesn't make noise and doesn't end up at the bottom of the toy bin. My daughter thanked me: it fits in the diaper bag and goes everywhere with them.

He didn't touch the other packages. A gift for his second birthday. He opened it, sat down on the floor with it, and didn't let go all afternoon. The other presents stayed wrapped.

He gets carsick, so a screen was out of the question. The moment he watches anything moving in the car, he throws up. We had no solution for road trips. Now his eyes are on his hands, and we did two hours without one emergency stop.

Eight hours on the road, and not a single movie. A very long drive with a 3-year-old. I was looking for a way to keep her busy without putting on a cartoon. She stayed with it for the first two hours, and went back to it after every break.

Out at takeoff, packed away at landing. Three hours on a plane. No meltdown, no screen, and I didn't have to negotiate with her even once. The flight attendant asked us where we found it.
