What age is it for?
Every product page lists a recommended age. In short: the light-up sensory board from 6 months (as soon as the child can sit up), the activity boards and the steering wheel from 1 year, the Tetris and the logic challenges from 2 years. The age shown isn't decorative: it comes from the product's safety assessment.
Does it really hold a child's attention, or just ten minutes like everything else?
The difference comes down to one precise thing: the number of different things to do. A regular toy offers one mechanism; once they understand it, the child turns away. The busy book offers more than 30 in the 8-page set, at different levels of difficulty. There's always something they can't do yet — and that's what brings them back.
Is it really safe?
The felt busy book is entirely textile: high-density polyester felt, stitched pages, reinforced seams, no electronic components. Some of the pieces are designed to come off — shapes, animals, numbers, letters: that's the principle of the game, and it makes them small parts, so adult supervision before age 3. The wooden products in the catalog carry, when they contain small detachable parts, the corresponding legal warning. Like any toy, they should be used under adult supervision.
No batteries, really?
All our products run without batteries, with one exception: the light-up sensory board, whose LEDs are powered by batteries that are included, in a screwed-shut compartment. None of our toys play music or voices.
Do the products need assembly?
The boards, the steering wheel and the Tetris arrive assembled, ready to use. The rolling activity house and the learning tower require 30 minutes of assembly each: hardware, wrench and illustrated instructions are included. The wall growth chart mounts on the wall, with fixings and a drilling template included.
How long until I receive my order?
Allow 6 to 10 days in total, handling included, Monday to Saturday, tracking included. You receive a tracking number by email as soon as it ships. Standard shipping is free, with no minimum order.
What if I want to give it as a gift?
All our products arrive in plain packaging that's ready to give as is. The Discovery Set is the one people give most: all 8 pages, 30+ activities and the free travel strap, in a single box.
Can I return an item?
You have 30 days from receipt to change your mind (Section 8 of our Terms of Sale). Return shipping is on us: Miloubo provides the prepaid label, and you're never charged for sending it back. The refund is issued within 14 days of receiving the return. Details in the refund policy.
The product arrived broken or incomplete
Email us at contact@miloubo.com with your order number and a photo. We send the missing piece or the complete product at our expense, in most cases without a prior return.
How do I care for a wooden toy?
A slightly damp cloth, then dry right away. Never soak it, never put it in the dishwasher: water makes plywood swell. For products that need assembly, retighten the hardware every two or three months.
Is there a promotion right now?
Yes: the fall offer, up to -60%, is already applied to the prices shown on the site. It applies to a limited batch we reserved with our manufacturer: once that batch sells out, the offer ends. On top of that, the code BIENVENUE10 gives you 10% off your first order, with no minimum purchase (once per customer), to enter at checkout. Only one promo code can be used per order: codes can't be combined.

What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Bancontact and PayPal. Installment payment isn't offered at the moment. Payment is secured by Shopify.
